These workshops are suitable for anyone with an interest in classroom music teaching including music specialists, generalists and instrumental and singing teachers.  These workshop are particularly relevant to those involved in the “Wider Opportunities” scheme.  It is also suitable for classroom assistants, governors, parents, and administrators who want to learn about the benefits of the Kodaly approach to music education.  The focus is on pre-school and primary classroom work.  There will be some elements specifically for instrumental teachers and there will be a session on transferring musical skills on to classroom percussion.  There is no need to be a music reader to attend these workshops.
